The Murder Of Jazlan Faisal

On the night of 24th May 2022, three boys from Karachi, among which Jazlan and Shahmir were present, went to Bahria Town to have a group study session. On their way to Bahria, a rash bike driver who was underage was doing stunts and had a couple close calls with the car that Jazlan was driving.

On this, Jazlan rolled down his window and for the driver's own good, asked him to drive safely and advanced ahead of him.

They then noticed the same boy calling on his phone and following them, but they did not think much of it. A few minutes later, by the time they had reached the Eiffel Tower, they noticed six cars speeding up behind them. There were 15-20 boys in these cars, all carrying guns and batons, clearly looking for trouble.

Jazlan & Shahmir were instructed by their friends who were residents of Bahria Town to stay in the car while they went out to try to de-escalate the situation.

They were met with batons to their heads and a big physical fight broke out when one of these friends gestured to Jazlan & Shahmir to speed off. On seeing this, one of the goons, Irfan Faiz approached the car and shot a bullet through the back window.

This bullet grazed Shahmir's skull, who was huddled in the backseat directly behind Jazlan and then traveled straight into the back of Jazlan's head, damaging his brain and paralyzing him instantly.

The goons then fled the scene and a few hours later, Jazlan was pronounced dead on a ventilator at Agha Khan Hospital.

Here are the victims that suffered bullet wounds:

Shahmir underwent 2 successful surgeries and is now in recovery, admitted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

This is Irfan Faiz, the seventeen-year-old heartless murderer who took a youth's life in cold blood, over something as little as a fleeting comment.

We urge everyone to spread this message as much as possible. He was a very important part of his family's lives and it has been devastating for them to deal with this loss.

We cannot let the murderers get away with this. Under NO circumstances can this evil not suffer the consequences. We demand justice to be served; not only for Jazlan or his family but for humanity itself.
